FIRST STEPS

NINA has formed an Emergency Planning Committee. The committee's task is to develop a mission for NINA and a plan to prepare for and/or react should a disaster occur.

Mission Statement

The purpose of developing an Emergency Plan is to help our community prepare for, respond to, and recover from and emergency.

Definition of an Emergency

The plan will define an emergency as an unplanned event that can cause physical injury to the public and/or that can disrupt and damage our community.

Every company needs to begin internally developing a contingency plan.

Start with the basics:

Identify and prioritize your business assets and functions.
